In the fourth quarter of 2020, France's consumer finance apps exhibited diverse trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users. Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of how these mobile applications performed during this period.
Ma Banque saw a significant spike in downloads in mid-December with 74K new downloads, compared to a range of 35K to 44K downloads in preceding weeks. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 4.5M in the beginning of November before dropping to 4.2M towards the end of December.
La Banque Postale maintained a steady download count, starting the quarter with 46K and ending with 35K. Active users had a slight increase from 1.8M to 1.9M over the quarter.
For Banxo - Caisse d'Epargne, there was a notable jump in downloads in late November, reaching 50K, while other weeks varied between 24K and 29K. Active users showed a dip in mid-quarter but ended with a slight increase to 1.6M in the last week of December.
Paylib, le paiement mobile experienced its highest downloads in the first and last weeks of November, with approximately 35K each, while other weeks saw downloads ranging from 23K to 28K. The app's active users saw a gradual increase over the quarter, starting at 35K and growing to 44K.
Lastly, Paiement mobile CA had its downloads peak at 31K in mid-December, with other weeks showing downloads in the range of 18K to 26K. The app's active users saw a modest increase from 111K to 112K throughout the quarter.
